Ages ago (Nov 20) we had a BBQ at our friends Kate and Michael’s place to help kick-off the Pepperdine Married Couples Club!  I remembered dropping-in the pictures for a draft post, but I never sent it…  My bad.   Anywho, they provided their beautiful house in Santa Monica, and the rest of us provided our respective culinary specialties.

Michael B kicked it off with some chicken satay skewers…

Michael K and I actually started the morning with a surf, so before we took off I stuck a couple racks of ribs in their oven that I had prepped the night before.  Some of you may remember the recipe.

Pretty pleased with ’em so far. 🙂

 

Lockwood and Aubree brought their pooch, a rhodesian ridgeback named Ryder.  He was such a good dog.
